TheOne Co., Ltd. entered into a business partnership agreement with GOT Co., Ltd. on January 3, 2022, for the development of localized hybrid propulsion systems for small and medium-sized vessels, as well as for the strategic advancement of related business. GOT Co., Ltd. specializes in the development of marine engines, generators, and high-speed marine propulsion systems for small and medium-sized vessels.
Based on this agreement, the two companies agreed to establish a foundation for entering new markets by promoting technical information exchange, including human resource exchange, as well as joint development and collaborative business initiatives for the development of hybrid propulsion systems. Detailed guidelines regarding the business operation, maintenance, and supply of hybrid propulsion systems will be carried forward through a separate joint agreement in the future.
Accordingly, TheOne Co., Ltd. will continue to focus even further on the development of related technologies in order to achieve early commercialization of electric propulsion systems for small and medium-sized vessels.
